The 59th birthday celebration of the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom and immediate representative of the Ikorodu Constituency I, Hon. Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle Agunbiade, has attracted loads of congratulatory messages from family members, prominent personalities and constituents who have all sent him best wishes.
Hon. Agunbiade, a cerebral lawmaker, teacher, community developer, sports and tourism promoter who represented Ikorodu for four consecutive terms of 16 years between 2007 to 2023, added a new year today, October, 25, 2023.
In what could be described as a show of love and appreciation for his representation which was a watershed in the annals of representation in lkorodu and the State Assembly, people took to THE IMPACT platform to send their best wishes to the former Majority Leader.
One of the first set of people to post congratulatory messages was the better half of the celebrant and the Yeye Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom, Yeye Adeola Agunbiade, who said that the former lawmaker triumphed over all challenges in the last one year, and wished him a new year with new opportunities.
“Happy birthday, sweetheart. May this new chapter of your life be filled with love, laughter, and all the things that make you happy. It’s been a year of new experiences, both ups and downs, but Alhamdullilah, you came out on top’’, she said.
“It’s a new year in your life and an opportunity for new adventures, and my wish is for you to face every day with optimism and enjoy the journey every step of the way, because that’s what life is, a journey. Have a wonderful day, Oyeniran. I love you and supper proud of you any day, anywhere”, Yeye Agunbiade wished her hubby.
Otunba & Yeye Ayodele Elesho, the Agbaakin and Yeye Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, in their own congratulatory message, wrote:
“Birthday Best Wishes, Warm Regards & Fervent Prayers for you on this your very special day, Hon (Chief) S O.B Agunbiade, OPOMULERO (Moja Alekan) of Ikorodu Kingdom. Igba Odun, Odun Kan ni o. Hearty Congratulations”.
Comrade Kehinde Okeowo, a political leader in Ikorodu, wished SOB whom she described as a reliable and trustworthy representative, a rewarding years ahead.
“Happy Birthday to my brother in Community Service,the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom, a dogged fighter, dependable and trustworthy”, she said.
“Hon. Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle Agunbiade, may your days be long in the land of the living in sound mind and good health. Thank you for all you do for Ikorodu. Continue to enjoy the surficient Grace of God. Cheers to more prosperous and rewarding years ahead”, Comrade Okeowo added.
A friend and confidant of the celebrant, Mrs Bisi Bello Mustapha, in her own congratulatory message, said:
“Congratulations to a friend and Leader, Alhamdullilah for everything in your life! God will continue to uphold u and give u all your heart desires with comfortability. LLP to u Friend”, she said.
Anifowose Owolabi (Omo Anifowose), a youth leader in Ikorodu and public analyst, also celebrating the cerebral lawmaker, wrote on THE IMPACT platform:

You have been an erudite lawmaker, a mobiliser and a cultural revivalist among many other things, your time at LAHA was a time of pride for Ikorodu, one moment remain indelible in my mind,when you vehemently resisted the mischievous attempt to merge Kosofe LGA with already grossly marginalised Ikorodu division, your political dexterity in killing such bill was outstanding. That is the core essence of political representation”, he said.

An Environmentalist and young politician, Prince Adedoyin Jokotex, in his own congratulatory message, said:
“I heartily rejoice with a refined personality and legal luminary. You have distinct yourself among your colleagues in every area of your endeavour and we are proud of your giant strides”, Prince Jokotex said.
“As you mark another year on earth today, may Almighty Allah grant you the grace to flourish in abundance and equally grants you sound health. Thank you for all you have done in your capacity as a former legislator and majority leader representing the most populous and vibrant constituency. Congratulations Hon. Sanai Agunbiade”.
